New Kingdom: Sowers Coming to Kickstarter April, 2024

In New Kingdom: Sowers you play as a young apprentice learning the art of sowing from your teacher. Inspired by his direction, you and your partner set off to find the best soil to produce a 100 fold yield! Watch out for rocky and thorny soil though. Your seeds may get lost or burned up along the way. 

This 1-2 player card game for people of ages 10+ is portable and quick playing setting up in less than a minute and playing in 15-30 minutes. Don't let the small footprint fool you though, this is a strategic game of wits. Can you outsow your partner in New Kingdom: Sowers?

Have you heard about New Kingdom: Gardeners?

This is the first game by New Kingdom Gaming. Designed by Jack Dunbar and Illustrated by Melissa Murakami, Gardeners is a parable in game format. It involves planting a garden teeming with fruit for the harvest by pruning thorns and hiring capable workers before the Master Gardener arrives to crown a new Head Gardener.

  • All New Kingdom Gaming titles draw inspiration for their themes and mechanics from the Christian Bible, church history and personal experience living life as a Christian. The aim is to be faithful to scripture but engage the imagination as well and present these themes in a tasteful and approachable manner for those who are unfamiliar with the content of the Bible.

  • New Kingdom Games are designed ultimately to be fun and engaging, not educational (while they may be at times). Our games all have strategic and immersive elements though some are lightweight and low in complexity. The goal is to create games that can be played by both new and seasoned gamers and by gamers with both a high and low tolerance for complex rules.

  • New Kingdom Gaming titles are not JUST for Christians. While followers of Christ may find these games especially appealing or interesting the goal is that our friends will too, regardless of their faith background.     While Prestige is not biblically themed it is in no way offensive or challenging to the narrative or theology of a biblical worldview. I am excited about Prestige as a new project that will help advance the mission of New Kingdom Gaming.
